PROGRAMME GOALS
To provide updated, evidence-based information on the management of heart failure, focusing on current diagnostic approaches, therapeutic strategies, and patient care pathways for physicians in primary and secondary care settings.
PROGRAMME OBJECTIVES
By the end of this CME activity, participants should be able to:
- Discuss the pathophysiology and clinical classification of heart failure.
- Identify key diagnostic criteria and relevant investigations in heart failure management.
- Describe pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic interventions for heart failure patients.
- Apply evidence-based strategies to improve patient outcomes in general practice settings.
DESCRIPTION OF EDUCATIONAL METHODOLOGY
PowerPoint lecture and interactive discussion supported by a clinical case presentation, followed by a question and answer session to reinforce learning objectives and clinical application.
METHOD OF PROGRAMME EVALUATION
Evaluation will be conducted through an interactive Q&A session, as well as participant feedback forms assessing knowledge gained, relevance of content, and quality of presentation.
