Welcome to the Association of General Practitioners of Jamaica – Work With Us

The Association of General Practitioners of Jamaica (AGPJ) is proud to be one of the oldest and most respected medical professional membership organizations in Jamaica. We represent a large and growing network of General Practitioners (GPs) who are dedicated to improving patient care across communities and throughout the nation.

At the heart of our success is a committed and talented administrative workforce—individuals who bring brilliance, passion, and purpose to the work we do. Our team supports our members in maintaining the highest standards of care, professionalism, and ethical practice.

Each year, AGPJ facilitates over 50 Continuing Medical Education (CME) sessions, ensuring that our GPs and allied health professionals remain informed and equipped with the latest medical knowledge and clinical advances. As we continue to grow, we are ambitiously working towards expanding our membership to 2,500 GPs by the year 2030, and strengthening our leadership role in medical education, training, research, clinical standards, practice accreditation, and advocacy.

We continue to collaborate with a wide range of partners to deliver impactful medical seminars and learning opportunities that empower our healthcare providers to deliver essential care and services to the people of Jamaica.
