🔹 1. Principles of Infection Control in Community and Primary Care Settings
- Presentation Title: “Standard Precautions and Beyond: Building a Culture of Infection Prevention”
- Focus: Hand hygiene, PPE use, environmental cleaning, and antibiotic stewardship at the primary care level.
🔹 2. Tackling Healthcare-Associated Infections (HAIs) in Ambulatory Care
- Presentation Title: “Hidden Threats: Identifying and Reducing HAIs in the GP’s Office”
- Focus: Common HAIs, surveillance, and minimizing infection risks in outpatient settings.
🔹 3. Recognizing and Responding to Sepsis in the Community
- Presentation Title: “Time is Tissue: Early Recognition and Referral of Sepsis in Primary Care”
- Focus: Sepsis red flags, screening tools, and when to escalate care from GP to hospital.
🔹 4. Updates in Sepsis Management: What the General Practitioner Needs to Know
- Presentation Title: “Sepsis 2025: What’s New in Guidelines and Initial Outpatient Management”
- Focus: Recent Sepsis definitions (Sepsis-3), empirical antibiotic choices, initial fluid resuscitation, and transfer protocols.

- Presentation Title: “Beyond Survival: Managing Post-Sepsis Syndrome in Primary Care”
- Focus: Follow-up care, physical and cognitive rehabilitation, and mental health support for survivors.
🔹 6. Antimicrobial Stewardship: Fighting Resistance in the Age of Superbugs
- Presentation Title: “Prescribe with Purpose: The Role of GPs in Combating Antibiotic Resistance”
- Focus: Judicious antibiotic use in outpatient infections, resistance patterns, and guideline-adherent prescribing.
